my 2004 endeavor logged code P0735 after I had the engine rebuilt; how do I troubleshoot to find the problem and get to a possible fix for it? I sincerely would appreciate a quick response and possible resolution.

 

P0735 doesn't exist .Only po0734,po0736 is transmission related codes.speed sensors.

 

If your engine is not running than it is probably P0335 Crank sensor issue. P0735 is 5th gear trans ratio issue. For anyone searching and looking for the probable cause of a P0733 or P0734 in an Endeavor it will most likely be stripped splines in the planetary containing 3 gears. Common issue with F4A51 AND W4A5A transmissions in the Endeavor.
