I have an 08 galant and have replaced fuel pump, replaced fob key and had key reprogrammed. Cannot start the car. Gas doesn't seem to be getting to the engine. Does anyone know if the fuel relay pump can fix this problem?

I did all that and still wouldn't start, had it looked at tutns out those engines are no good. the gears in my engine locked up and engine was just about gone, would need a new engine and is not worth it. Was told that a lot of these engines from 2002-2008 have the same issue. I had to junk my car. Good luck

It is your timing belt it snapped or does not have ribs anymore from age. I will guarrentee it. Unless you are throwing codes

It is your fuel pump relay or fuse or clogged line or bad injectors or bad fuel pressure regulator. Simple diagnosis is done by pull off line before fuel filter have friend turn key to prime fuel line. If it sprays like fire hose then it is clogged line. If no spray check fuse, then buy relay for 20 or less. If still not spraying fuel pump is either not correctly installed or faulty fuel pump.

Default Timing belt

It is your timing belt and they have an interference motor so it will cost $2000 to fix. Tow it to the scrap yard and buy a new one. Your valves likely bent when your belt snapped because of the design of this motor. All you have to do is look up interference motor. Good luck.
