Compressor will constantly cut on and off when you start driving
I don't think it should change and go that high. Sounds more and more like it's restricted and not moving around the system. Bleeding the high side sometimes will free up a blockage but if it doesn't work you're out the $40 worth of freon. If you do it have a rag handy as there is lubricant in the freon and don't use your finger to push the pin down unless you like minor frostbite
the low side pressure at idle should be around 28-30 psi. high side should be anywhere from 175-225psi depending on the air temp outside. when you rev it up sounds like the pressures are either going way high or way low, the pressure switch in the a/c system will cut off the compressor if the system has higher or lower pressures than factory specs. did you overcharge the system when u installed the new compressor?? is there a leak and mabey the system is low?? i would start there. good luck. greg....
