Friday took my galant in for timing belt change. It now has terrible vibrations especially around 1500rpm. Any ideas why this should be & causes.

Any information I would be grateful for I have to return it on Tuesday but I do not think that he really has any idea what the problem is. Thanks......................

 

What year is the Galant? I bet they didn't align the oil pump balance shaft correctly!

Thank you one & all. You are spot on with diagnosis. Took the car back & advised them of what maybe the problem which as you can imagine does not go down well. However problem corrected the car is fine now. Had me very concerned for a few days. Thanks again for your imput.......
