Default Changed timing belt & water pump now Montero won't start

I Changed the water pump, timing belt ( and other belts) and the auto tensioner adjuster. Now my truck won't start. I triple checked my timing marks and rotated the pulley at least 3 times to make sure the auto adjuster tightened the timing belt. When I first tried to start the truck it sounded like it was going to start but nothing just vrrrr...... Now it just won't start. Anyone experience this or know what my problem is.

Are you ABSOLUTY sure that the crank was on the TDS (top dead center) on the #1. when you set the timing marks?

hello! from many years of mitsu dealership expierience, 2 things come to mind. the wires going to the cam sensor are crushed behind the timming cover.secondly, did you have a real hard time getting the crank pulley off?? some times the crank sprocket will also slide forward when you are taking off the crank pulley and the crank sensor blade that is mounted to the crank sprocket will come loose, sometimes the blade will actually break the sensor in extreme cases. get a scanner and bring up the data in the MFI section and monitor the cam and crank sensors. which ever one isnt registering at least 200 RPM's when cranking is the culprit! good luck!! keep us posted!!
