i have a 2001 galant and i been having this problem for a while. every morning wen i start car the steering wheel vibrates and a knocking sound comes from the front. as the car warms up the knocking sounds stops but the vibrations continues. i think it might be that it needs some new motor mounds? but dont know. any suggestions on wat causing this. thanks.....

 

Does it clunk when you shift from reverse-drive, or park-reverse?

You can try power braking the car and see if it knocks when u accel it.
