i have 2001 galant and i been having this problem for several months. when car is in drive gear or reverse gear i get alot of vibration and a knocking noise from the lower front, if i put car in park or neutral vibrationa and noise stops. its the worst when car is cold in themornings. do yall know wat might because the problem thanks.....

 

Does it clunk when you shift from reverse to drive or vise versa? Sounds like a bad engine/trans mount.

 

^^ what he said. if the noise if only present when changing from park to nuetral or reverse or drive then its a high likely hood it is 1 or more mounts

 

its definately your roll mounts probally run you 100 dollars for the both of them
