Actually my Old Mirage 1999 with 165,000 milesnever had any problems with breaking the system even replacing the pads it never Squeal.
I even used Duralast pads and break it like crazy but no squeal....
if you drive an Automatic that will make a difference... I always notice that breaking on Auto has little squeal in every stop and go and stop.
