My lancer was throwing the code
PO603..Internal Control Module
Keep Alive ( KAM) error.
was idling on the low side.
was also draining the battery

1. My question is when replacing the ECM do you simply match the part #?

2. Ive found a used ECM with matching numbers.
upon receiving does the new unit need to be reset?

3. What is proper procedure in doing so?

4. Once doing so will my key need to be hacked to accommodate new ECM or should it work?

5. Will i have to send new ECM to be programmed to vin Numbers?
