'12 Lancer GT CVT
Hello all.
I love my new Lancer, I got the GT/CVT trans since it had the higher displacement and the stiffer ride. (I also liked the flappy paddles which are fun even though the trans doesn't really have gears, lol). I am curious if anybody is familiar with these CVTs? When accelerating it seems to surge/lag a little and I'm wondering if this is just typical of the CVT, if it could be the VVT or if I should just wait until I've put some good mileage on it first to see if it's a break-in thing. Car has 2000 miles on it now. I'm sure if there IS anything wrong it's covered by warranty. Anybody?
Cheers!
