I have a 2014 Lancer with the hands free system, no nav.

My phone connects and I can make and received calls but the screen shows no connect and no media will play. I have cleared and repaired my phone as well as deleted and reinstalled the media apps on my phone. I have a Google Pixel 7a phone. For the past couple of years when the media (audible) would begin playing the hands free would disconnect and reconnect after a minute or two but then work fine. The phone had an update 2 days ago and all of this problem popped up.

I suspect the the Hands free system may need an update but I haven't been able to locate any info for an update on this specific system and year. Has anyone else had this problem or can direct me to a firmware update and instructions?
