Default Dashboard Clock went crazy and reads 19:70

Great. It looks like another problem unique to me.

The dashboard clock reads 19:70 or similar random numbers.
In many cases it takes disassembly of the entire dash to replace it.

Anybody got better news for me? Or should I use sticky tape and mount
new one over it so I don't have to read the random numbers.

Default

do all the digits display properly? or do some digits not equal a number at all? i'd try holding down the reset button for 10 to 20 seconds. or unplug the battery for a couple minutes.
