Default Steering column problems

I own a 2003 Lancer OZ Rally - have issues with steering column.
It has come loose 2 times now and I don't understand what the issue is. I had it fixed about 3 months ago and now it is back to the same wobbly and unsafe state again. Anybody else have this issue with Lancer OZ Rally or any Mitsubishi? If so and you had it repaired can you tell your story?
What is the cost to have a Mitsubishi dealer repair it rather than an independent service shop? Any great places in southern California (San Diego county) that one can recommend?

Sorry to hear about your problem. I live in Southern Cali (San Diego) but I'm totally new to this car stuff. I just bought '11 Lancer GTS myself. If I hear of any place I'll let you know though bro.
