transmission question

Default transmission question

whats going on guys i asked this before and didnt get a reply i have a 03 oz and when i shiftgears itslike mush it goes in gear to easy and im kind of worried about it it used to be real tight does any one have this problem or have an explination i dont beat on my and dont power shift your help and oppinion is appreciated thanks

I do also feel that there is a slight crunch when i shift. I drove my old civic and i never had this problem. Try pressing on the clutch deeper when shifting. I found that the crunch disappears. Or check your transmission fluids also.

thanks bro i thought iwas going nuts thinking im the only one with this problemits really bothering me, like i said i dont beat on the car so i didnt no what was up did u getyour trani fluid changed and did it help i do push the clutch in all the way and the crunch does go away a lil but it still feels like mush

I changed the transmission fluid after and still made a slight crunch. I just discovered that if you pressed on the clutch deeper when shifting will solve the problem. Again, in my old civic i did not have press all the way and i could still shift without any noise. I guess Mitsu transmission is build this way.

ok cool ill have to get this checked out because im pressin the clutch all the way in
