Default is it worth it

I have a 2005 Lancer ES that's automatic and I was wondering if it's even worth trying to do any mods to it and if so then what should i start with?

what do you want... high HP and fast wont happen probably. but a header and full exhaust and CAI will help for some small gains. I would do that stuff, if you want alot of HP youll need alot of Money for a turbo kit of some sort

for starters, esp. one w/ auto tranny, get an intake system and exhaust. next build your ignition systems....still not happy?? then go turbocharger.

Just because its a auto doesnt mean its worse. Some automatic cars actually run faster than sticks. I believe most civics are like that and also Hyundai Accent's. But if your not satisfied with having a automatic and love your car you could always switch it to a manual. Takes some work and about 500-700 hundred but possible.

I'd rather have a slower manual than a faster automatic. Takes all the fun out of it.

But yeah, listen to them!
