$1400 2002 Montero worth it
Hello all, this is my first post here and I am hoping to be the new owner of a 2002 Montero limited. I pretty unfamiliar with these cars, but have done a fair bit of research online. I'm just unsure whether or not the car for sale is a good deal or not. Any advice is much appreciate, thank you all in advance.
Pros:
The car has 100,000 miles exact and runs/drives perfectly. Exterior and out of the car is 10/10 perfect. The car is a salvage title since it was crashed into a couple years back, but all the repairs have been done since. It has a full book of maintenance, including recent timing belt, ABS repair, oil changes, and brand new tires. Interior is mint condition with no tears on the black leather seats. Brakes feel suspiciously good for a car of its size. The car is driven often.
Cons:
Small crack on windshield, small oil leak on back of valve cover, center differential light will randomly flash while driving, driver side seat wont recline, and the trans sometimes shifts a little funky. The fluid was somewhat dark so i'm sure a fluid change would fix that.
I am purchasing this car off of my coworker's mother, I tried to negotiate the price but she is firm at 1400. Is this asking price worth it?

Definitely a good deal. 100k is very low moleage. The oil leak on the back is a minor inconvenience. Could be just a cam position sensor seal. Very easy fix. $5 part and 30 min of your time, or you can have a shop replace it. If the body is not rusted, I would not hesitate to pick it up myself
