Hello Everyone,

I have a 1991 Montero LS with the 3.0L V6. I am having Idle problems when stopped at lights or stop signs which usually results in vehicle dying.
It idles around 1000rpm and surges then dies.

I have replaced the following:

Idle control motor
Throttle Position Sensor
Fuel filter
I have checked the vaccum lines for leaks (none)
Checked the air cleaner hose for leakes (none)
I have throughly cleaned the Throttle Body.
Had the ECU rebuilt last year.

I am not looking forward to replacing the Mass Air Flow Sensor (because it is around 350-400 dollars to buy.
Any other options on how this problem can be fixed would be extermely helpful.
