1995 Montero sunroof leak
The Sunroof has a water catch tray all the way around the sunroof area with a drain hole in each of the 4 corners. Those drains have rubber tubing that carry the runoff down to the car underside where it is deposited to the ground.
On my 89 when it was parked on a slope the water would gather up in the low point and one corner drain was plugged up. The water would spill over into the interior (in my case right onto the driver seat). If those drains get plugged with dirt and debris, what I have described can be the result. First try to find the ends of those drain tubes under the car and run a stiff wire up until you know you have reached the sunroof. Have a partner listen for the scratching of the wire end at the sunroof area. You may be able to open up a blocked drain if that is what is causing water to get into your interior.
Keeping the water from getting into the catch tray will require a new seal around the glass. A rather expensive part. I did not bother with that. You may want to depending on how much of an issue it has become for you!
