Default 2001 Montero Sport 4WD light flashing in 2H
When I put my car in 4L or 4H the light stays on solid as it should. But when I put it in 2H, it blinks continuously and it doesn't stop. It stays flashing the whole time my car is on. What is the issue and how can I fix it? And is this the reason why the acceleration sucks when I try to go uphill?

Sounds like it's not disengaging out of 4H.
