Sry to start a new thread. Where is the location of the ECM

 

Inside passenger foot well on the outboard side. If you get down there (under the glove box to the right), you'll see a bunch of wires going down behind a plastic cover on the outside wall. That is where PCM is located.

 

Thank you Hunter, Had a few minutes to day and i see a plug bundle,, undid that but could not get that plastic cover out, i removed the screw at the bottom, but nogo, do you have any pics?

 

I do not. I never had to pull the PCM out for testing. From the look of it, there is a plastic clip/plug on the floor that needs to be removed. There might be another one near the door. Then pop the cover off and you should have PCM exposed.

this pic needs to be rotated so the foam is at the bottom, this is the right kick panel, or is it under the floor board. Thanks again for your time Hunter. I have removed the two large plugs but can not remove that plastic piece

 

I think the black handle looking thing is the lock. It may need to be moved to one side or the other.

 

i did that and removed the two plugs, there is nothing behind it,, i tried to remove the male sockets and take out the large piece of plastic but could not get it to come out
