Are you getting new or used OEM struts and shocks from e-bay? If they are used, you may not get any ride quality improvement after all is set and done.

Word of advice for DIY work on the suspension - make sure you have wheel chucks, good floor jack (you will need good lift height) and a pair of jack stands to support the body while manipulating the suspension components. Read the FSM and make sure you understand what you need to do before you take off a single bolt. Be patient and careful - you are working under a ton (several tons) of metal. Good luck with your project.

Getting them brand new as advertised but i will look around my local auto parts store if they carry them, i don't mind paying a little extra. I did my rotors before and i saw how it was bolted. I even manage to inquire about it at the Mitsubishi service center and my mechanic explained how to remove them. I think the hardest part is removing the front driver side because of the electrical panel that you have to remove. if i can find a good mechanic who can do it cheap once i have my parts I'll probably have them do it.

You do not need to remove the electrical panel on the driver side, just the battery and the battery tray. Similarly, on the passenger side you will need to remove the airbox to access the three nuts that hold top of the strut.
