93 sr 4wd changing rotors!?!
i've never had to take the rotors off of a 4wd vehicle before.... and started to do so last night, but couldn't figure out how to get them off!!!
i had taken the wheels/wheel locks/calipers/brake pads... i took the bolts out of the wheel bearing (but it wouldn't come off at all) and without the wheel bearing off(or atleast the plate that covers it) i can't get a socket/wrench/anything in to take the only other existing bolts off...

if you have all the necessary bolts and caliper off and the only thing that is holding the rotor on is rust. Go get a mallet or use a hammer since you are replacing the rotors anyways. Butcher the damn thing out. Hit it north and south the rotor, it should break off.
no, i mean as far as bolts and everything goes.... there are i think six bolts holding the wheel bearing cover on, we took those off and nothing would move.. the cover prevents me from reaching the other six bolt(nothing will fit in the space needed) which appear to be holding the rotor on.... then i noticed behind the rotor connected to each of those other bolts is a nut, well you can't get anything in there to hold the nuts still even if you could reach the other end of the bolt...

I'm guessing you already solved the problem since this was posted months ago. But I'll post the answer in case anyone else is suffering from the same situation... as I was earlier today. The solution is easier than you may think. Once you pull the cap off the end of hub assembly by removing the six bolts, you'll see a grease filled hub assembly. You need to remove the phillips head bolts that hold the outer ring to the jam nut. Then take the ring with several holes in it out. You can do this by using a small flat head screwdriver. Then you can remove the jam nut by either buying a special tool at the Mitsu dealership or Harbor Freight Tools OR do as I did and stick two screwdrivers in the two holes in the jam nut that are bigger than the two holes you just unscrewed the bolt from. Hold the handle of both screwdrivers in your left hand (assuming your are right-handed). Then put a tire iron or a handle of a hammer or anything else that's long and strong (Heh-heh!) and turn the jam nut loose. The jam nut should loosen easily since the whole hub assembly is loaded with grease.
To reinstall, I used the screwdriver trick again. You don't want to overtighten the jam nut because that will cause your bearings to wear prematurely. Just make it "finger tight" then give it about an 1/8th of a turn more. NOT TOO TIGHT!
I hope that helps!
One other piece of advice... you may need to buy new grease seals that will go on the innermost portion of the hub assembly. Sometimes when you're pulling the hub assembly off, you may need to remove them. Then they might not seal up well when you putt them back in. They're only about $3 each. So they're worth replacing.
Good luck!
