hey guys, I have a 2000 Montero sport xls. I was trying to hook up the system from our old car in it and I have everything apart and the old radio out. I hooked up the new deck with a wiring harness from Walmart and it won't turn on. After I couldn't get it to power on I tried hooking the factory unit back up and I hear it buzz but it doesn't turn on. I have searched a bit and can't find any info other than for the infinity system which I don't have. I am guessing it has something to do with the alarm code you have to put in but I don't know. Anybody have any ideas??

 

Just wanted to let everyone know, for some reason it needed the radio itself to be grounded to the car directly and it works great now!
