Default bolt info

I am looking for somewhere i can find the info on the bolt patterns and sizes for the intake of my 02 montero 3.5.
not looking for torque info. I need to know sizes for each location.

I have found a lot of other info but not sizes.
I got all the bolts lost/mixed when i moved, and now am unsure what sizes go where, and i am almost done .

any help?

thanks

Don't have the bolt patterns, but, shorter bolts will likely go near the edges, couple of longer ones are in the middle (they go through upper and lower part of intake). What you can do is this - with the intake positioned on the engine, drop the bolts into the bolt holes (without tightening). Make sure that all of them stick out about the same distance (probably 10-20mm or 1/2-3/4 inch). If any of them are sitting too tall above intake or is sitting with the head flat on the intake - they probably should go into a different spot. With any luck you should be able to locate the right spots for them that way.

I am in the process of rebuilding my 3.5L 6G74 from our 2002 Montero Sport.
Link here https://mitsubishiforum.com/forum/mi...removal-48920/

I bagged and tagged all of the bolts as I disassembled. Attached are pictures of the 8 bolts that I labeled as for the intake manifold and an excerpt from the manual which shows where the 8 bolts go and the relative lengths of same. Also attached is a picture of the nuts and special washers which attach the lower intake to the cylinder heads.

Hope this helps some.

jp1985 your welcome and I'm glad I could help.

What kind of work are you doing on the engine?
