I have a 97 Montero and the Indaglo light has gone out! It still works but at night you can not see the compass. Is this just a light bulb that went out or is this bad? I hope it is an easy fix! Any help is appreciated!

 

There is a bulb in there, but the dealer will have a very difficult time looking it up. I suggest you go in there and remove the bulb so they can match it. If not from the dealer, try an auto parts store to match it up with.

I've actually had to replace one of those before and the bulb is similar in size to a Maglite AA bulb.. it might be a difficult find. The dealer parts guy has to really know his stuff to be able to find it in the CAPS catalog. Good LUck!

I have a 98 Mitsubishi Montero. When I start the engine the compass is always showing a letter "S" rounding the screen. Anybody can help me?

I found the solution in another forum. You have to press the "S" button and then make a 360º with the vehicle and thats'it

I finally took it apart and there were two lights in the back of mine. Did yours have two?

 

Hmm.. i don't remember exactly. It was several years ago and was a customers car. I just remember having to jump through hoops just to get the right part.
