Lifter clatter never came back. Still quiet. Mobil 1 and no oil leaks btw

Excellent report........wish we could definitively pin the cure down to the exact ingredient.

I added mobil 1,1qt and that did it. It still is quiet from then 2017 to now 2022. 1qt M1 per oil change

I had recently ticking noise in the engine. Bought a oil additive from Liqui Moly and the noise went away almost immediately. https://www.liqui-moly.com/en/hydrau...0004.html#1009

1 qt mobil 1 ....1 qt every oil change.until this year oct 2022... still no excessive noise

As I recall it was HiTec oil Highmileage oil from walmart and I added 1 qt of mobil 1 syn
