Default Misfiring code

I have a 2000 Mitsubishi montero sport with a 3.0. I have a hesitation only from a stop to accelerating but not all the time. It is flashing a check engine light once and a while but not staying on. The code is a engine misfire code I got from Auto Zone. Only seams to do it when warmed up and under a load like a hill or a/c on. The mis I felt was not like one plug misfire but like for a split second the engine shut down completely but not long enough to stop the engine. What could you suggest?

Well, you want to do process of elimination. The easiest/obvious things first.. check spark plugs and wires.

I already replaced plugs, wires. The problem is not one cylinder misfire, It's as if all ignition is shutting down for a split second and running normally again. When you feel this, it feels like if you would turn the ignition key off and then back on.
