Default Start and idle problem

Hi, I have a 2000 pajero blister fender, so the van was driving and staring perfectly fine I use it daily, however i have been driving with cracked exhaust branch manifold. I managed to fix it, now the vehicle don't want to start unless I jump start it and also the idle is irregular now. When I switch the vehicle off and turn on the ignition to start again then dashboard lights burn strong but the vehicle don't start unless I jump start. What can this be.? Please help.

How did you repair the manifold?

Ok, thank you for clarification. The reason I asked - if you welded them while on the vehicle, you could have blown out PCM. Sounds like we can eliminate that for now. First things first - double check your battery contacts (both positive and negative). Check to make sure your grounds on the engine are good. Did you reconnect all sensors properly? Might be worth unplugging and replugging them to ensure the contacts are good. And of course - check the battery condition and cgarge

Check your battery connectors and ALL grounds. Corrosion at connectors may inhibit current, especially at lower temps. You can try to start the engine and with it running, disconnect battery terminal. If engine dies - you have some issue with the charging system.
