Default starter engages when in drive
I have a 1997 Mitsubishi Montero Sport V6 That has been sitting for a while. I put in a new battery to start it up and move it. But as soon as I put it in Drive the Starter Tries to Engage, and I Cant figure out why. Has anyone had this issue before.

You wired something wrong. Check your installation again.
