I'm slowly getting things fixed on my 91 montero but now 2 new problems. The biggest problem is the starter. Sometimes it cranks fine, sometimes very slow, sometimes just clicks and sometimes nothing. Already replaced the battery, cleaned the connections and no change. This is the 4th starter in 2 years. I did find a cable by the starter that was disconnected. Traced it up to the battery and the other end was also disconnected. It's gotten to the point I don't want to drive it because I don't know if it will start.
I need advice on this.
2nd problem is the cruise control wiring burned up today. No previous problem. Anyone else have this happen?
