Time to change IAC valve?
Iv been having an idle issue with my 01 montero xls. it has abut 125k and its running pretty strong except for the low idle, it feels like a misfire but i know its the idle. Two weeks ago I took out the IAC valve and cleaned it with intake cleaner, while i was at it i also took the chance to clean the intake manifold as much as i could.
after I put everything back together the truck ran perfectly, no idle issue at all. A week later its back to the low bumpy idle issue again. Today I took out the EGR valve and cleaned it but it remains the same, I also tried to clean the IAC valve again but its back to where it was. Searched online and seen this part sells for $175 to $200.
suggestions? Im almost certain this will fix my issue but before i shell out the cash is there something else i could do?

I found this video on Youtube. I checked mine out with a volt meter and mine read 32.5 on one side and 34.5 on the other, he does say a good IAV valve should read 38OHMs at each coil. is it time to replace mine?
