Default Wont turn over

Hi...I am new to this..I have a 1995 Montero that I just got few months ago...was running fine then started acting like battery was dead the negative cable at the battery was in bad shape so got a new one only it's a normal cable..the guy at the parts store said it didnt need the 3 ground points...but with the new cable n battery when you put key in and turn on the lights come on but that's it try to start it nothing...wont even run the windows...any ideas be great...thank you

What did you do with the connectors that were going to the other 2 points? Are they connected to good grounds? You csn tun additional simple negative wire to them. Depending on where connections are, there might be a reason why the original negative wire ran there.
