I spoke to the service rep at the deaership where the car was bought and serviced. He pulled up the records. His advice was that since it only has 82000 km ( 50000 miles) I would be safe to go to 90000km before replacement. Didn't seem to think the time factor of 9 years running to be a reason to do it now. He also said that the kits these days cost about$450 and include a water pump. About the same $400 to install.
