I'm helping a coworker with his 2010 Outlander. I tried holding the latch while prying at the door but still no luck. You can hear movement near the door, but you cannot feel much tension at all on the leaver.

What should be my next step? And is there a way to get the door open without tearing apart the interior?

 

Update: It seems where the cable attaches to the leaver was not all the way in so was not pulling far enough on the cable. Popped it back in and it's working now.
