I never looked into it but am surprised that there is no bolt-on kit available. You could probably get one custom made? Just depends on the mechanics in your area?

You can go with an STS turbo universal kit, but the hardware is not the problem on the 3.0. Fuel management, ecu programming and component strength are our hurdles to overcome.

I have about 295 crank hp on mine and I worry about the transmission's strength.

Isnt the engine in outlander ( V6 MIVEC) the same as the lancer....... I thought they made a lot mods for the lancer engine?

Lancer has no V6 option...just the 2.0 or 2.4 I4. The 6B31 V6 engine is only used on the Outlander...I am willing to bet that the future Eclipse/Galant and other ones will have a DOHC/turbo version of the V6. It makes no sense to develop a SOHC V6 in this day and age, since a DOHC version of the engine would be making around 280 HP no problem.

Yeah - thats not uncommon. The last gen IS had the same thing - eventhough the engine was the same in the supra, once it was charged there were reports of tranny failures.
