For the life of me I can't get it working. I have all the plugs and wired up and ...not working. I expect it is an grounding problem. From the grey 16 pin, does pin 57 need to go back to the 28 pin behind the glovebox, or can I ground it on the screw holding the headunit in place?
I am sure I have mic + and mic -.
I'm just confused about pin 56 and 57 on the 16 pin and whether they should go back to the 28 pin and if so where.
Greetings. I don’t know if I addressed this topic correctly, but I see a lot of experts and useful information here.
The essence of the question is this - the head unit was stolen from my car. They stole it very roughly - they ripped out the connectors that connected to the head unit, only a lot of wires remained. I bought the connectors, but now I don’t know how to connect the wires to the connectors, since there are a lot of them ... Maybe you have a wiring diagram from my car brand (where the colors of the wires going to the head unit are indicated)?
Mitsubishi Outlander 2016. Bought in America. I attach a photo of my former original head unit. Thank you in advance.
Hi all,
I am able to upgrade SDA for my 2016 Outlander SEL.
Have some research can be share
MMCS: 8701A692, SDA: 8741A006
When I switch MMCS to SDA, I got "The microphone has a bad connection" and "An error has occurred with the GPS antenna" two error code, plus no USB port for Apple Carplay. SDA connection
Microphone solution: because I don't want to modify/cut original harness therefore I pull a microphone unit from junkyard with very long wire on it. (Cost $5) microphone with harness
Material: 8755A104Harness, Microphone Circ; 8761A002Microphone, Interphone
The ground wire contains inside the microphone OEM harness Microphone connection
The microphone stick near push to start button Microphone location
