Default 2019 outlander no spare tire

Recently bought a 2019 outlander , it doesn't have a spare tire. Im wondering if the tire hoist from an earlier model could be mounted underneath. It looks like the mounting holes are there. There's even a hole plugged off where the crank nut sticks through. Any thoughts out there?

Have you mounted the tire hoist umderneath your car? I am also planning the same idea and would like to know if any warranty being voided if we do the mount underneath.

I am also looking at this , I dread getting a puncture and having no spare. At the moment all I have done is purchased an alloy and going to put a part a part worn tyre on it as its only ever going to be used as a spare but it will be in the boot for now.
I do have some spoked silver alloys if anyone else is interested , mint condition with only delivery mileage to dealers.
