Anyone with a 2007-2009 Outlander can you please let me know if your spare tire metal holder is firmly attached/welded to the bottom? On my 2008 Mitsubishi Outlander XLS it is rattling and hanging low, I have tried to tighten the screw that is supposed to adjust it and it still has a low hang and rattles alot when driving. Can anyone let me know if they have the same issue or if everything is nice and tight? If you can snap a picture I would appreciate it!

Does the spare tire have a TPMS unit?

 

I have a 2009 Outlander, and mine doesn't rattle at all. In fact, I had to use my spare tire once because of a flat tire.

 

No, it doesn't have TPMS sensor.

 

I have two 2007 Outlander XLS and a 2012 GT. All have TPMS. One of the spare carriers rattled when the tire lost it's air (2007), never needed the spare in the other two so never dropped them.
