Hi everyone
my first time on here so forgive me if I’m doing it wrong.
I have a 2007 outlander and have just changed the brake light switch as my lights were very dim. Now I have perfect brake lights but my glow plug light and engine management light are flashing. The car drives fine and I have brake lights.
Could it be the switch? Or am I doing something wrong?

Is it the right switch?
Did it have the same amount of terminals?
There should be 4 terminals, 2 for brake lights, others are for the cruise control, and can cause engine light to come on
