sad to say something happened when i got a boost last weekend... no idea what happened but after i had a full system meltdown on my dash, lost my speedo, odometer not working either, and it cycles through the warnings of

check abs
check traction control
check engine
tire pressure warning
the 4x4 is flashing "4wd" then "lock" alternating one for the other


only thing on the dash working properly is the tach...

checked all the fuses but none seem blown... not sure whats going on. I can monitor my speed and everything fine on a wireless obd unit I have connected to a tablet

I did get a u0100 fault code

 

You blew something, i would check all fuses and relays. Most likely, whoever boosted you also connected the cables backwards and reversed polarity, which typically blows fuses, but can also backfeed into a controller and fry it.

I would drive it to the dealer, and have them hook it up to their computer, it should show which controller is offline. You might need to replace it, or fix the relay or fuse.

 

gggplaya...exactly right...happened to my sisters truck one time after a boost...she took it to the Dealer and they replaced a controller and a software reflash or some such thing.....it was a pretty easy fix...but cost her some dough...best of luck.

 

ya.... i blew the abs controller it seems which they want over 3 grand for... anyone know where to find used parts cheap online? i cant find anywhere under $1200
