In XLSs with HID then, would you even consider those DRLs as real foglights? 27W for DRLs vs 55W for LS foglight kit. Do the math, the manual doesn't even call them foglights (DRLs in XLSs). And you may want to check Post #15 on page 2 of this thread about what Manybrews said regarding HIDs and DRLs, link here: https://mitsubishiforum.com/fb.asp?m=120374
So who's not reading posts now?

Manybrews said this on page 4 post 38.
the cars with standard headlights have foglights you can control.
the cars with HID lights have those foglights turned into non-controllable DRLs.

LS with fog lights 55w bulbs. Real fog lights
XLS with fog lights 55w bulbs. Real fog lights NOT HID NOT LUXUARY
XLS with DRL are 27w bulbs. DRL NOT fog lights. This is with the HID LUXUARY option.

You seriously have to be ****ting me. I just copy and pasted manybrews. He said in english, cars with HID lightshave those foglights turned into non-controllable DRLs. No one is saying that the DRL lights are 55w fog lights. We keep saying that when you purchase the luxuary package with HID lights then they are no longer fog lights. dodo2 is also saying the exact same thing.

Come on guys. Look at the bright side of these discussions. There are no other seriousissues to talkabout, which is a good thing. It means the Outlander is a good car, so we have to keepourselves busy, don't we?

I moved on hahahaha. My new goal is to take out the baby 10" sub. Then add an amp. Then install a new 10" super sub. It sounds great inside of my head but now the hard part is going to be actually doing it.

I couldnt resist. Buy these white light xenon fog lights. They even come with a switch to controll them and put out white HID simulated light. Make your LS an inbred XLS with HID controllable fog lights. HAHA, that should stir up some replies. DidI mention 72.77 and 9.95. That beats dealer fog light kits.
