No problem to report, I have since drove another day trip no issues at all.

I also installed the same bulb but in 7440 base for my reverse lights and they look great. Stock is very yellow.

Can you see any better while reversing at night?

Yes and no. The LED didn't have the same focal point so projections are changed.

Viewing from the side mirrors now has more lights at the curb. Viewed from backup camera the stock bulb seems to cast light further straight back the vehicle. (I'm referring to my garage door at 50ft or so, I can see the car or wall right behind me with either bulbs)

I also replaced the license plate lights with brighter LEDs. So this may have affected the camera sensitivity as the camera is always seeing a bright part of tailgate now.

Viewing straight on, the LEDs are more noticeable for sure.

Very cool. I can see how the backup camera might be affected by brighter license plate bulbs at night.

Well, looks like my JDMs just went out. Front LEDs are dead, as well as a couple side rows.

Finally replaced my DRL bulbs.

A buddy of mine recommended these:

So far they look decent. A little on the bluer side so more like 8000k than 6000k, but so far so good:

They burned out twice?? Did you purchase them directly from a Honda dealership as I suggested? I drive 2 hours/day and mine are still going strong. If you did buy genuine bulbs, you've got a more serious issue than the bulbs.

You must be a glutton for pain! Does $30 still seem expensive? You've already spent $43 and countless time and energy searching, purchasing, installing, uninstalling, and returning LED drop-ins when your solution has already been suggested to you; forget the rest and go with the best. As I said before, Philips is the ONLY company currently producing legitimate (ie, SAE and ECE compliant) LED replacements for common automotive incandescent bulbs. FYI, part of the compliance is that they last a reasonably long time (unlike the imitations you've been buying!).
