I currently own a 2016 outlander exceed model diesel.

I was driving on saturday and suddenly i got a FCM and ACC Fault then a check engine light came on.
The power to the car was gone and i couldnt go up hills at all but the engine would change gears and that fine.
I pulled over and turned the car off to see what could be on. Called a few people and they said to turn it off for a bit and start it again to reset the computer.
Did that and it worked fine for a bit with the check engine light still on then when driving the FCM and ACC faults came on and lost power again.
Pulled over again turned it off and on just so i can make it home

About to go get it serviced but i was wondering if anyone knew what could be the problem before i get a mechanic trying to rip me off like the last one did and tried to make me replace the turbo on another car when it was the SCV on the car faulty.

i had the same problem with my 2014 outlander diesel at 60 000km and it was the turbo. the replacement cost 1700euros in France.
