2005 Diesel Galant Coolant Loss
Hello All,
Just the other day while driving I noticed steam coming from under the hood and I looked at the heat gauge which was showing as normal. I killed the engine and popped the hood. One hose was loose and the coolant had completely leaked from there. I didnt get any low coolant warning. Anyways, I fixed the hose and filled the coolant again. Since then, I haven't observed any excessive smoke or noise. There is no visible leak as well but every two days or so, I have to add the coolant as its low. I'm losing approx 300 to 400 ml coolant daily. There is no oil in the coolant and no bubbles either. Should I still have the head gasket checked or could there be another reason of the coolant decreasing?
Thank you.
