My local "find" was DOA so I am back in search. What year did they change to the bigger disc drive that can rip MP3s?

As I know, since 2007 the MMCS can rip mp3. But they change the hard drive from 30g to 40g in 2009.

Please correct me if I'm wrong

Anybody know if you can replace the little button on the lower right corner. Mitsu says you have to buy the entire head as the **** is not sold separately....
