By the way, I found some more secret menus in the MMCS.

When you hold down SET+NAVI to get to the service menu, press and hold "MENU" to get to a "Development Service" menu.

In fact, holding "MENU" in various subscreens of service/development service takes you to even more secret menus. One interesting one I found is when you go into "Versions Indication", you can hold "MENU" to bring up another menu force a program reload for the loading program, bootloader, navi/audio cpu, etc. Experiment with other menus and you'll find lots of little (potentially dangerous) goodies!
Very interesting this discovery Brian, our MMCS continues being a “box of surprises”. It will be interesting to see the images that you will take. At this moment I cannot see this hidden menu, I will be able to check this until within two weeks since of work I am far from my Outie. . .

Hmm : What are the options available in these menus ?

O.
I took a ton of screenshots of most of the MMCS, including normal operation and the hidden menus. Hopefully this helps for reverse engineering the screen file formats!

Anyone figured out what the s-video port on the back of the mmcs is for yet? Can we turn it on via these menus?

canberry35:
Wellcome to the forum. Otaku would need the LOADING.KWI file your MMCS because the files modified by Otaku are European and the American versions, reason why you will have to extract the hard disk of your unit, to unlocked it, take the LOADING file and to send it to it to Otaku to see if it has the possibility of patch. In this forum exist great information to extract/unlocked the HDD of the unit, look the link (https://mitsubishiforum.com/m_208034/tm.htm).
On it will change language, I don´t know if this is possible. Good Luck
