So I had my 07 XLS in the shop this week having some suspension maintenance done at 110k and the shop informed me that the engine cradle has a hole in it caused by corrosion. I live in the north east so the vehicle sees quite a bit of salt in the winter. I make sure the car sees a car wash every two or three weeks to keep the elements off finish and chassis. I know there was a recall or service bulletin on the Outties for springs so I called my local dealer and they said no problems have been reported with engine cradles. Has anyone here experienced this issue?
