ETACS options customization
#501
The ASC settings/stability control within the vehicle option section. I can turn it off completely when I disable the "electronic stability control" and the the ASC service light goes away but ACS stays off and I cant turn it back on with the button on the left side of the steering wheel. Which makes sense because I disabled it.
Any help is appreciated
Thanks Vadimus

I compared these 2 codings, nothing changed in ASC-related settings from 2009 to 2010, so I guess 2011 should not differ as well.
Here are some settings I consider ASC-related:
Chassis type: Type1
Final Drive: 4WD FF Base
Transfer: ACD
Front Differential: Helical
Rear Differential: AYC
ABS: Not present
ESP: Present
ACD/AYC: Present
Let me know if it helped.

Vadimus,
Thanks for this. I also reached out to mart(many thanks to him as well) and was able to resolve the issue. All the settings above you mentioned are necessary. The last piece of the puzzle, Was the setting:
"Integral Transmission" must be sent to absent
Once I changed this from present to absent it was fixed
Much appreciated

You could PM jsrd but he might be slow answering as he work offshore on oil platform.
I think he got it from JapanParts.com that is is favorite shopping place.
He probably added more stuff to it's Outlander than all of us combined.

Lexia3 Ordering recommendations
First I congratulate Vadimus for pioneering this very useful forum !
I have a 2012 Outlander ES and my wife has a 2010 Outlander ES. I would like to change the software options to :
1. Disable TPMS in the winter (we have snows mounted on steel wheels)
2. Activate the auto doorlock feature
3. Set the front fog lights to turn on independently
4. Test other options.
After reading so many responses, I have decided to purchase a Lexia3 device and its associated cables/software.
Would anybody mind recommending a reputable place to make this purchase? I am a little uncertain since I view many websites with different prices/shipping rates and they all seem to ship from China.
Once I become adept at using this tool, I'd like to help out other Mitsubishi guys in my area (Boston, MA) Again thanks Vadimus (and others)!

Hello! I have trouble with coding etacs. I have u1417 error in abs. Car was coded to 4007 and after that asc lamp is on. I tried to change coding with lexia but without success. Car is outlander 3.0 v6, 2wd with asc. In lexia is no option for 6b31 and i belive that this is main problem.
