Press the double gear button to save to etacs.

Press the back-button to leave the selected menu.

Pay attention: every customer-settings like e.g. light-sensor will go back to the manufacturing value after reprogramming a value in "programming by default". You have to change again with MMCS or Diagbox.

Press the home-button in the top of the program to leave the session.

Good luck...

Well, I tried to disable the TPMS today using the steps as described, and got the following unexpected message:

Enter access code supplied by technical assistance.****

I even tried uninstalling and going back to Diagbox 6.19. Still no dice

Any idea what I did wrong?

You need TLCD fix.

TrailBrake,

I will be attempting to execute my changes tomorrow. In the event I run into the same situation as you, where do I obtain "TLCD fix " ?

I found it using Google.

If you can't find a link to TLCD fix, you can probably find a Diagbox update that includes the fix (updates for v6.20 and v6.24 appear to have it).

Search in google for:

tlcdfix.rar

Second link...

or use a Diagbox from Scary. All versions up 6.20 have the fix included.

After using Scary's 6.01 to 6.24 update w/ TLCD fix, I am happy to report my TPMS is now disabled

A 10 minute test drive after disabling the under inflation detection had me grinning ear to ear.

A huge thank you to Vadimus for assisting in getting this newbie up to speed.
