Default Can you say "crumple zone"?

Hey guys, check this out!

High speed videos of a 2012 Outlander (Brown, just like mine) crash tested. I was on Google trying to determine why the ETACS_SUV Menu listed "Excess Speed Alert" appears twice on the Programming by default menu and I stumbled upon this YouTube video :

Still searching for the "Excess Speed Alert" field displaying twice...

Default Looking for Diagbox 6.08

I have a 2012 ASX (Outlander Sport/RVR) and have successfully installed and activated Lexia and PP2000. However, I can't change settings in Lexia because it asks for a code (03114 doesn't work).

Also, the included Diagbox is version 6.01 and I have been unable to activate it (always fails).

If I understand it right, I need to install Diagbox 6.08, which is supposedly the most compatible version with the ASX? Also, I need to downgrade the firmware of the Lexia 3 box to 4.2.4?

I have already downloaded PSA Interface Checker. Problem is I can't find Diagbox 6.08. Is it really that difficult downloading this software?

If anybody knows where to get it (and if the assumptions I made above are all correct), I would appreciate it if you could point me in the right direction. Also, if Lexia 3 doesn't work with the 2012 ASX out of the box, does it mean it's really useless to me? No workaround whatsoever? No new code for the ASX? Thanks.

Most likely Lexia/PP2000 won't work on a 2011+ Mitsu.

I recently tweaked ETACS on 2012 RVR using DiagBox 6.22.

It is available in 2 different places (as torrent and as archive on rapidshare), google it.

Or wait until free version of ETACS_decoder is available.

Thank you for your reply. So I really need to downgrade the firmware and just use Diagbox 6.22? How about 6.24? Thanks again.

Please, can you PM me the links? I have been looking for these for hours and I can't find them. Thanks a lot in advance.

EDIT: Found it. I didn't realize that using this cable with my unit wouldn't be as straightforward as I expected.

Question

Does anybody know how to auto-lock the doors when the car reaches a certain speed? It was there in Lexia but I can't find the option in Diagbox v. 6.24. What's there is auto-unlocking of doors when parked.

You can find it in "Programming by default". Look at Post 528. The option is there... It is named like "Auto door lock/unlock"

Dennis,

Two stage/twilight mode is just what I wrote there:
activated two-stage auto lighting: first stage turns on front and rear marker lights, the next adds HID low-beams.
Depending on an light brightness either stage kicks in.

DRL mode setting has several options, like being disabled completely, utilize HIDs or DRL bulbs, being linked to parking brake, staying on even with headlights engaged etc.
